we will take a WALKING TOUR , to meet the people and their the children, visit the new
creche, taste the "uqumboti" township brewed beer, and experience their way of life. Visit a CRAFT MARKET where you will find inexpensive traditional Bead work, Pottery and African prints by AFRICAN ARTISTS.
Enjoy a beer in a SHEBEEN and experience the exciting Township vibe! Thando Sekame ,
introduced us to this community and he lives here. Thando, now a Tourguide, was a freedom fighter, these are his
people, the people of New Rest, Guguletu [Our Pride].
